Angelina is one beautiful woman, I'll give her that. But I question alot of her VERY public philanthropic work. There are many public figures around the world that provide monetary and physical aid to the poor, quietly and privately. As with most celebs though I'm sure she is motivated greatly by the public exposure and photo opportunities she gains from her charity work. I wish she would spend an equal amount of time doing her philanthropic work in her home country as she does in 3rd world countries. I've travelled around the U.S. pretty extensively and there are multiple cities with absolutely devastating poverty. And as for her adoption of foreign children, our own child welfare system is clogged with children of color that need homes too. I'm always left questioning celebs that pretend to be pied pipers of goodness and then return home to live in staggering wealth that borders on the vulgar. And let us not forget that Angelina has broken up, via affairs, two long term relationships. Billybob Thornton's who was with Laura Dern and then of course Brad Pitt's marriage to Jen Anniston. This woman is no saint.

Thank you Anonymous -- very well said. This woman's beauty is skin deep at best.

I'm not fan of Aniston, and I'm totally with you guys. From incestuous brother kissing, blood-wearing, homewrecking bad girl to saint, the image rehabilitation of Angelina Jolie belongs in textbooks, so carefully and painstakingly executed it has been. Her PR people deserve a freaking prize.

I don't disagree that Ms. Jolie has great PR people, but for the love of GOD, I wish people would stop with the BS sentiments of "do something in your own country instead of somewhere else" - are you kidding me? Genuine philanthropy and adoption of needy children should be celebrated, regardless of what country/race is involved. The argument that the only good philanthropy is when it involves your own home country is ridiculous. There will always be needy people EVERYWHERE. Because she is trying to help a small part of that, regardless of her motivations, it should be celebrated.

Anon 12:38 PM -

No one said "the only good philanthropy is when it involves your own home country". Where did you get that?

No one said "do something in your own country instead of somewhere else". Where did you get that?

Anon 8:39 AM clearly stated that they wished Angelina would spend an "equal amount of time in her home country as she does in 3rd world countries". Can't you read?

Do you have difficulty analyzing commentary? When you look at the Anon 8:39 AM post in its totality, and think about it, an entirely different set of points is raised. The only "BS sentiments" are contained in your self-serving post.

You missed the point on every level.....

Angelina is not speaking to her father because of his infidelity??? How judgemental of her, considering what she has done re Laura Dern and Jennifer Aniston!

Quite the hypocrite!!!!! She needs to get over herself and own her shit.
