Ellen Degeneres has become Oprah Winfrey's neighbour. Ellen has just bought a 4 acre, two storey home, with 4 bedrooms and 8 bathrooms for $16.9 million US, in Montecito, California. Soon to be the new love den for her and her hotstuff girlfriend, Portia DeRossi. Winfrey's nearby 42 acre estate cost over $50 million US in 2001.

4 bedrooms and 8 bathrooms? Why so many bathrooms? Most houses have one per room at the most or one per room and one downstairs as a guest bath. WEIRD.
