Chad Hurley, 29, and Steven Chen, 27, co-founders of YouTube, are a couple of rich dudes after Google acquired their service yesterday for 1.65 billion.
To conserve money as it subsisted on $11.5 million in venture capital, YouTube had been based in an austere office above a San Mateo pizzeria until a recent move to more spacious quarters in nearby San Bruno.
I suspect they've yet to receive a cheque - are they recording their thank you speech in front of TGIFriday's? Looks like it to me. They must of warmed up over a couple pints and some hotwings.
If you want to read the boring details of the actual acquisition - go HERE.
