Model turned actress, Amber Valletta, most recently seen in Hitch, has checked into The Meadows Addictive Recovery Centre. In other words, REHAB. She checked herself into the institute in Arizona for "stress" and "image issues" and non-substance related dependancy issues. Valletta has been in rehab for the past week and is expected to check out today.
The Meadows helps patients with
- Addiction to alcohol and drugs
- Compulsive behaviors such as eating, gambling, work, love addiction-avoidance, codependency and sexual disorders
- Psychological conditions including post-traumatic stress disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder and dependent personality lifesyles
- Affective disorders such as major depression, panic attacks and bipolar disorder
Former patients of the centre include Matthew Perry, Whitney Houston and most recently, Kate Moss.
