Ellen Barkin Hocks Her Jewels

Now that she's got Clooney's in the palm of her hand.

Out with the old, in with the new. The Magnificent Jewels of Ellen Barkin will be auctioned of by Christie's in New York on October 10th, 2006. 102 pieces for her personal collection will be sold including vintage pieces formally owned by Doris Duke and the Duchess of Windsor plus a number of estate pieces by Cartier, Tiffany, Fred Leighton and Van Cleef & Arpels. This collection is worth over 10 million dollars and was collected during her 5 year marriage to Revlon owner, Ron Perelman. She decided to rid herself of these baubles when he filed for divorce in January of this year.

"As exquisite as the collection is, they're just not memories I want to wear out every day. For other people, they're pieces of jewelry; for me, they have history...I'll take a break from the jeweled-trophy-wife look."

Anyone sleeping with George Clooney after sleeping with this for 5 years would be delirious.
