American Idol executive producer, Nigel Lythgoe, apparently called Courtney Love's agent last week, to talk about her coming on as a judge. Courtney tells Us Weekly they asked her so that she could replace the ever intoxicated Paula Abdul. As if! Not a chance! Sorry Courtney, you're delusional again. It had to be about a 'guest judge' gig. There's no way Courtney can be relied on to show up, let alone on time, for multiple tapings of a live show. Paula may be drunk and/or high, but at least she shows up.
"He called," Love tells Usmagazine.com. "He was wondering if I was interested. I thought it was kind of weird but brilliant."
Brilliant? Maybe, but only so we can have two trainwrecks on stage for the price of one. I know I'd tune in.
