Drew Carey has confirmed that he is in final negotiations with CBS to take over the much sought after hosting gig of The Price Is Right. Many names have been thrown around but Drew confirmed to Variety that the deal is in the final stages.

I think he is a GREAT pick for the job. Good for him.
He is a fantastic replacement. He definitely could do the show for 30 years easily. I just hope they put it in his contract to lose about 30 pounds. I just think for hosting a daytime show like that, he should just slim down a little, not alot, just a little.
sorry but i'm not a drew fan. I was a fan of the price is right since I was a kid and I sure will miss it.I truly believe Rosie would have been the perfect choice.Yes she is contraversal but great with us regular folks and CBS will lose more veiwers by playing it safe.
