She Said It

Madonna on maintaining her figure ~ "I mix it up - Pilates, gyrotonics, yoga. I do it six days a week, with Sundays off. Actually Sunday is a day of horse-riding. There's no such thing as a day off."

But despite treating her body like a temple, Madonna still has "fat days", and always takes measures to make herself feel better.

She says, "I run longer on the treadmill and don't eat as much the next day, so then it evens out, but I'm sure it's all in my head."

By the looks of those pipes of hers at the Post-Oscar parties Sunday night, she can afford to put down the iron.

Random Funny - Math Is Hard

Pamela's Quitting UGGS

Pamela Anderson is taking the credit for creating the tragic popularity of UGGS. HaHA. At least she has the sense to stop the madness.

I'’m getting rid of our Uggs - I feel so guilty for that craze being started around Baywatch days - I used to wear them with my red swim suit to keep warm - never realizing that they were SKIN! I thought they were shaved kindly? People like to tell me all the time that I started that trend - yikes! Well let's start a new one - do NOT buy Uggs! Buy Stella McCartney or juicy boots - I'’m looking for alternatives myself for my boys and the men in my life! I'’m designing some right now for my family and will try and have some available on my website soon.

It'’s what I grab by my door in the mornings to bring my kids to school or walk my dog on the beach at 6am or anything early - I'’ve definitely over used them - and that'’s it!!!!

Here she is leaving a hair salon in LA yesterday.

Ashlee Kinda Sorta Disses Big Sis Jessica

Ashlee Simspn tells The Daily Record when asked about comparisons to her big sister, "I'm taller than she is and my legs are longer than hers. I got lucky because my chest size isn't completely massive."

Two Blind Items - Your Guesses

1. Which coked-up, oversexed celeb, not previously linked with guys, gave a pleasant surprise to a visiting gay New Yorker in the backyard of a pre-Oscars party in LA Friday night?

2. Which two male TV actors (one of whom is married) were making out in the bathroom of the Vanity Fair Oscars party Sunday night?

These two are good and juicy but I honestly have no idea. Your guesses in the comments please and we'll debate this one out.

Blame Andre

Jennifer Hudson has one regret from Sunday's Oscars. Her dress. That hideous gold lame python bolero, that looked like it was borrowed from an old Battlestar Gallactica set, cost her to land on many Worst Dressed lists. It isn't her fault apparently, we can all blame Vogue's Andre Leon Talley.

"Jennifer was kind of sponsored by Talley and Vogue," said one fashionista. "Andre insisted she wear that hideous Oscar de la Renta dress with the awful, awful gold python bolero.

"Jennifer really didn't want to, and so [noted stylist] Jessica Paster got her a beautiful gold Roberto Cavalli custom-made. But when Andre found out, he went ballistic. Moments before she left for the show, there was a power struggle and Jennifer ended up putting his outfit on."

What a shame. I wouldn't be afraid to throw it down with Andre for the sake of fashion.

Her Vogue cover was terrible also. Did they have to choose the photo with her mouth wide open? That couldn't of been the best shot, could it? She wasn't slated to be Vogue's covergirl this month, but was only to appear inside the magazine in an entertainment profile. Vogue thought the shot was so great, they put her on the cover.

You mean to say Vogue found this photo to be flattering?

Was It REALLY A Secret?

Naomi Watts, 4 months pregnant with her first child. The actress had not announced her pregnancy publically, but it was pretty obvious in her gown last night. Today their are reports that the gown's designer Escada "outed" the pregnancy by submitting a press release stating: "The Escada gown set off her most precious new asset--the baby she is expecting with longtime boyfriend Liev Schrieber ." I wouldn't call it "outed", more like DUH!

Sorry But......

Abigail Breslin, nominated for her role in Little Miss Sunshine, looked like an easter basket. Love her but, REALLY.

Guess Who?

The Oscars Red Carpet Whoa's And No's

WHOA! WHOA! WHOA! Reese looked hot.
My fave of the night.

NO! Not a fan of that red on Nicole.

Cameron looked better than usual but her dress
reminded me of an 80's wedding gown.

Jessica Biel - too pink for me. NO!

Gwynnie had another red carpet NO!
Terrible colour on her and the lipstick, dreadful.

JLo gets a WHOA! from me for this one.

Beyonce - NO! especially the pose.

Kate gets a Whatevs for this ensemble.

NO! Kirsten Dunst was by far the worst put together of the night. She looked badly in need of a shower. Hair = lame.

Drew & Cameron Light It Up!

Cameron Diaz and bff Drew Barrymore are enjoying a Hawaiian vacay to celebrate Drew's 32nd birthday earlier this week. The paparazzi are photographing their every move. They can't even enjoy a joint without getting snapped. That would suck. Good for them for going for it.

I went with Scorsese for Best Director simply because he is so overdue. Best Picture and Best Director usually go hand in hand, which is why I chose The Departed. Last night I heard that Spielberg, Lucas and Coppola will be the presenters for Best Director. Who better else to win the award and join their powerful group?

Check back Sunday night for the best and worst red carpet fashions.

He Said It

"I don’t think I’ve ever denied it. When did I deny it?
I’m having the best time of my life, so if the names don’t make sense to people,
that’s so small to me. "

~ John Mayer when asked about being more open about his
girlfriend, Jessica Simpson
