The Metropolitan Museum of Art's Costume Institute Gala happened tonight in New York City. The hautest night in fashion. Check out the lovelies, and the not-so lovelies, arriving. There are those who rocked it, and those who DIDn't. It was more about the shoes for me tonight, than the gowns. Who are you liking? Not?
Posh either had a say in those shoes, or she's pissed she never wore them first. Posh has got to be even more pissed that Katie, hands down, trumped her on tonight's red carpet. Posh was NOT looking fine. Katie's dress is phenomenal. Posh had on the wrong foundation but had the best arm-candy of the night, of any night, fo sho.

You think it was coincidence that Scarlett Johansson announced her engagement the night of the Gala and the eve of her first album dropping? Me neither. Bitch is going to marry Ryan Reynolds. All eyes were on Scarjo and that ring tonight. Give her PR rep a raise. Well played.
Hilary Duff looks uncomfortable here. Plus I prefer her as a brunette. She can actually channel JLo when she goes dark.

KatE looks like a plastic doll to me, and I can't get past that.
Posh's face isn't pretty enough for the severe look she's sporting with hair and make-up tonight. That said, I think the dress is spectacular.
Liv and ScarJo both look fantastic.

The Olsen in black (Ashley?)... that's about as good as I've ever seen her look. She's def the prettier one.

Katie's dress looks sort of like a red trash bag to me, and Posh looks like the Bride of Frankenstein. My favorite dress is on the Olsen twin black.
I love Posh's gown. Beautiful. Her hair and makeup suck though. As for Katie Holmes, love the gown, hate her shoe color and hate her fake tan.
