Germany Bans Tom Cruise

Germany has barred Tom Cruise and company from filming his next movie in their country because they don't recognize Scientology as legit. LOVE it!

Cruise, and actor in the film and also one of the film's producers, is a member of the Church of Scientology which the German government does not recognize as a church. Berlin says it masquerades as a religion to make money, a charge Scientology leaders reject.

The U.S. actor has been cast as Colonel Claus von Stauffenberg, leader of the unsuccessful attempt to assassinate the Nazi dictator in July 1944 with a bomb hidden in a briefcase.

Defense Ministry spokesman Harald Kammerbauer said the film makers "will not be allowed to film at German military sites if Count Stauffenberg is played by Tom Cruise, who has publicly professed to being a member of the Scientology cult".

"In general, the Bundeswehr (German military) has a special interest in the serious and authentic portrayal of the events of July 20, 1944 and Stauffenberg's person," Kammerbauer said.

Cruise's publicists could not be reached for comment.

The results of the DNA test, which Murphy took on June 11, were received by Brown on Thursday afternoon, says rep Liza Anderson.

"He's the baby's father, it's official," says a source close to Brown. "The baby is undoubtedly, 110 percent his."

Of Brown, the source said, "There was no doubt in people's minds anyways, least of all hers. It wasn't a surprise to her. She knew all along."

Murphy's rep declined to comment.

Brown, 32, gave birth to the baby, Angel Iris Murphy Brown, on April 3, and has long contended that Murphy is the child's father.

Barbara Who?

All the sucking up Barbara Walters has been doing to Paris and Kathy Hilton lately, has not paid off, and WaWa is pissed.

NBC has agreed to pay as much as $1 million for Paris Hilton's first after-jail interview, which will appear on the "Today" show, The Post has learned.

Sources told The Post the sit-down will be conducted by Meredith Vieira the day after the heir-head is sprung some time next week.

ABC was the front-runner until NBC Universal boss Jeff Zucker personally called Hilton's father Rick and made the pitch, the sources said.

Hilton agreed to the interview, but said she'd only speak with Vieira because of "disparaging" remarks her co-host Matt Lauer made about her.

Paris Is Thankful

Ryan Seacrest was granted the coveted interview with Paris Hilton from jail this morning on his LA morning radio show. Paris went on and on about how jail has made her a changed woman.

"I'm so much more grateful for everything that I have, even just to have a pillow at night or food."

"You know my gratitude has gone up so much and I just realize that the media used me to make fun of and be mean about it," claimed the heiress, "Frankly I'm sick of it and I want to use my fame in a good way."

Of her life behind bars, Hilton, who was jailed for violating probation for driving with a suspended license, says it's been difficult being kept from her family. "I am behind glass and I want to give my dad a big hug and they won't even let me do that."

She also insists that she is not receiving any special treatment in jail. "That's how the rules are, you have to be behind glass," she said. "I'm not a criminal, I'm not dangerous, so it makes me feel like that. It's hard but I'm stronger everyday."

As for the future, Hilton says: "I just can't wait to see my family and have a nice meal and be in my own bed and appreciate all the things I took for granted and never really thought much about."

Kind of how I felt when I went to live in Tokyo at the age of 18 and live in a slummy apartment for 4 months. I couldn't walk around in my bare feet, had to get out of bed and slip on a pair of shoes, it was that yucky, and I honestly did come home and appreciate what I had. Not that I believe Paris will for more than a week.......

It's A HAPPY Birthday For Prince William!

Prince William turned 25 today. The Prince now has access to the interest – an estimated $500,000 to $600,000 a year – generated by the $13 million left to him by his mother, Princess Diana, who died in 1997.

He'll come into the full capital sum when he turns 30. His brother Harry, 22, will gain access to his inheritance – a similar amount – on the same schedule, according to their mother's will.

Reps for the prince would not say what he plans to do with the money, the Associated Press reports.

He and Harry each earn about $44,000 a year as second lieutenants in the British army, and their necessities – including housing, staff and polo playing – are paid for by their father, Prince Charles.

The Osbournes put their Doheny Drive estate on the market in April (07) after Ozzy confessed, "I don't want to stay in that house any more... The house holds bad memories for me because it reminds me of the terrible time Sharon got cancer and of times when me and the kids were doped out of our minds."


Reports suggest Christina Aguilera paid an undisclosed sum for the mansion and plans to turn it into her Los Angeles base.

The Go To Jail Diet

Paris’ weight has fallen from 110lbs to 100lbs after she was sent back to jail in Lynwood, Los Angeles, for flouting a driving ban.

One insider said: “After she was transferred back, Paris refused to eat.

“Staff became worried as she seems very thin with her bones poking out. She was also very weak and lethargic.

“They threatened to put her on an intravenous drip to rehydrate her and give her some nourishment unless she started eating.

“She has since managed to get a little food down, but doctors are closely monitoring her.”

Insiders say her only human contact is with doctors and three deputies who monitor her 24 hours a day.

She has no TV and is allowed out of her cell for one hour a day to phone her family.

The insider added: “Paris looks very pale. She is not allowed to wear make-up and her hair is matted and frizzy from washing it with soap as there’s no shampoo.”

Sure the food must be bad, but I'll bet she's refusing to eat because she doesn't want to be watched on the toilet. Apparently her seatless toilet is in the middle of the room, in perfect view for the guards, so they can keep an eye on the prisoner at all times. Aguilera Really Might Be Pregnant

Page Six is reporting today that Christina Aguilera is indeed knocked up. "She's been telling friends," said one snitch, who revealed, "she has to be three months now, because she's announcing it." This would be the first for Aguilera and her husband, Jordan Bratman.

Blohan Cancels 21st Birthday Bash

Lindsay Lohan's rep tells Usmagazine.com that the actress has canceled her 21st birthday party, originally scheduled to go down at PURE nightclub in Las Vegas on July 2.

"The party was canceled officially over 2 weeks ago. We were confused why PURE was even still promoting it," says Lohan's rep. "But Lindsay will not be having the birthday party at PURE and is focusing on her recovery 100%.”

The actress checked into Promises Treatment Center in Malibu, California, on May 28th. Lohan’s entry into rehab, her second stint in five months, came after a whirlwind weekend that ended with an arrest for DUI and alleged drug possession.

As source tells Us that PURE let Lohan out of their deal, even though she had been paid and signed a contract, because Lohan has agreed to make a future appearance.

Reps for PURE could not be reached for comment.

Great to see Lindsay making a good decision. The Vodka company who was an early sponsor of the event had already backed out. She wouldn't have anything to fill her water bottle with anyway.
